I’m looking for a scheduling software (preferably online) that will allow a customer to book an appointment with a consultant based on the calendar and NOT the consultant. For example, I would like them to click on the calendar, choose the day/time that works best for them and have the software assign it to one of potentially 5 consultants that have marked that slot as available. It would then email the client AND the consultant with the information. Consultants would be chosen via software randomly.

I would recommend BookingBug. It sounds ideal for what you want to do. It also has plenty of social integration if that is required. For example, your consultants can look on your WordPress, Facebook or Blogger and book themselves for a day that suits them. Not so sure about a consultant being chosen at random but it is worth asking them about it via chat.

I am using Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007 for managing project scheduling & till date I haven’t found any uncomfortness. so i can also suggest u the came. Go for trial version, download it from its official website for 60 days trial pack.

I just started online courses for wedding and event planning. After lookng thru the first unit material I recieved its completely obvious I’m going to need something to help me keep track of due dates, lessons, and help with time management. I thought about just buying a calendar but its too hard to change it if I need to…and I hate the dry erase calendars so thats out.
My last option is some free software that can help me with scheduling my assignments and other VIP things. Anyone know of a free program that can help me out?

google calender maybe? I hear a lot of good things about it, and google generally makes good things. www.doodle.com is a good site for setting up scheduled events for multiple people as well.
